GOP waxes melodramatic in complaint about drama

Time to duck, the irony stick is swinging fast:

"Last session we were told no votes," said state Rep. Tricia Cotham, a Charlotte-area Democrat. "I think there is reason for skepticism and caution."

"The Democrats attempt to bring drama into everything, but this time they are going to be sorely disappointed," said state Rep. David Lewis, a Dunn Republican.

The fact that you had to inject "this time" into that sentence undermines your entire argument. Breaking your word about what will or will not happen generates doubt about future happenings, and doubt produces suspense, and suspense is a core element of drama. cut, that's a wrap

I'd like to see them overturn the voter ID veto...

from Gov. Perdue. I've asked my representative to try and slip that in, while one of the Democrats needs to go to the bathroom or something.

Consider yourself a part of BlueNC history

But not of BlueNC future.

It was fun while it lasted, Frank, but the fun is over. You are hereby banned from BlueNC.

What you are advocating in this comment is illegal, not to mention wrong. Worse still, you seem to think your ideas are amusing, that this is all some joke to feed your perversions. Sorry old man, you're no longer welcome. I have come to believe that you represent almost everything that is wrong with our state and our country: bigotry, greed, and good old-fashioned ignorance.

We have a simple standard of behavior here, one that draws the line at what we call "intolerably obnoxious."

You just crossed that line.

Bye-bye Frank

It's been fun while it lasted.

Progressives are the true conservatives.

Buh-bye Frank...You ought to be the poster child

for that group of voters and citizenry that are either too stupid, too lazy, or just so willfully blind to reality that they act in ways destructive to themselves, their neighbors, and the future of our nation and our planet. Here's hoping you have a sudden and intense revelation some time in the future.

Parting words

You might think it's funny (or even fair) to pull a trick like that, but it's not just that "Democrat" who's being tricked in your scenario. It's all of the people that elected official represents, as well.

When you're in a position of responsibility like General Assembly members are, every move you make has consequences for tens of thousands of people. And when our representative government is undermined through guile and deceit, nobody wins.

Consider that one of the many lessons you could have learned here, if you had been paying attention to anything other than the voices of Boortz and Limbaugh echoing inside that empty head of yours.
